VINS PADRÓ D.O. TARRAGONA

The Tarragona wine denomination protects the wines made in the region known as the Camp de Tarragona and part of the Ribera d'Ebre area. It is the oldest wine denomination in Catalonia. Its wines were prized as far back as Classical times, when they were exported to Rome. In 1932 it was given a statute to protect its wine, and in 1976 the present denomination was set up.
